A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Dana Perkins is Head of EMEA and Global Head of Business Development at BloombergNEF (BNEF), based in London. In this capacity, she leads a group of business development professionals forced strategic growth and impact. She also works closely with BNEF’s EMEA b based analysts on regionally focused research. Dana is also co-host of Bloomberg Switched On, a weekly podcast focused on the future of energy, transport, and sustainability, as told through weekly interviews with BNEF analysts. Prior to joining BNEF in 2009 (formerly New Energy Finance), Dana worked for Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) in their Energy and Industrials Practice. Dana has a B.A. in International Affairs and a M.A. in Environmental Public Policy from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In 2018, Dana became a C40 Woment4Climate mentor.
