A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Smart Solutions Manager - Emerging Technology Lead, Iberdrola
Pavina Adunratanasee’s work has been focused on the intersection of clean energy funding and technology innovation. In her role as ‘Smart Solutions Manager’ at Iberdrola, a leading global renewable energy producer, Pavina leads the commercialization of clean technologies focused on distributed energy resources (DER), energy storage, and electric mobility to drive the ‘Net-Zero Economy’. Prior to this, Pavina worked in utility-scale renewables financing with Siemens Financial Services covering the Asia-Pacific region covering wind and battery storage projects in the APAC region. Pavina’s climate journey started as a graduate student in New York where her research was focused on the intersection of sustainable development, policy design, and capital mobilization.Â

Pavina holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Columbia University (SIPA) specializing in Sustainable Urban Policy. Her other recent achievements include being selected by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) to participate in its flagship global leadership program. Additionally, She is a ‘Climate Tech Fellow’ at Ondeck and a ‘Climate Leadership Corp’ member at the Climate Resiliency Project.Â
